Built in the 1960s, the Milanese penthouse in the Navigli area is characterized
by two large closable terraces overlooking the architectural skyline of the metropolis,
with its skyscrapers and the famous Milan Cathedral.
The renovation encountered some structural difficulties but thanks to some creative solutions
it was possible to make the apartment more comfortable and flexible.
The common thread of all the interiors is a modular wooden structure that separates
the sleeping andliving areas finely and discreetly, and at the same time allows for efficient
use of the space.
The spaces try to be as flexible as possible: a comfortable sofa bed for occasional guests,
an extendable dining table, a sideboard and desk structure where it is possible to see projections, wardrobes and closets designed in detail, large fronts and mirrored walls that optically magnify
the spaces, helping to spreadmore light and greener, more interesting views inside.
